Job summary

Meijer in Commerce, CA is seeking a Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and create a positive shopping experience for customers. This entry‑level role focuses on product placement, back‑room organization, and teamwork to support store operations.

You will lift up to 50 lbs, learn basic technology, and follow processes to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while delivering friendly service and accuracy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
