Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN seeks an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and store operations run smoothly. You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and maintain a clean, safe environment while engaging with customers as needed.

This role supports leadership and participates in back-room tasks to keep the store prepared for opening each day. Prior retail exposure is helpful, and physical capability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets/carts to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard in back room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day.
