Job summary

Meijer Inc. currently seeks a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a variety of grocery products and to provide exceptional customer service. You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and maintain a clean, safe working area.

In this entry-level role, you will work with leadership to meet deadlines, assist customers, and participate in overnight prep to start the day ready for shoppers. Some palleting or forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Organized and efficient in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to support shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
