Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a variety of products and to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to customers. You will move items from pallets to shelves, manage back-room cleanup, and collaborate with leadership to keep areas on schedule.

This entry-level role emphasizes teamwork, efficient processes, and safety in daily tasks. You will be trained to use basic technology, follow procedures, and assist with overnight preparations to open the store ready

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service with a friendly attitude and willingness to help customers.
• Ability to follow processes and work in an organized, efficient manner.
• Comfortable learning basic technology and using store systems.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Assist with overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.
