Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate to support cleaning, stocking and customer service at the Pitt-Frazer/Pittsburgh Mills location. You will maintain floors, assist with checkout, and help ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities include trash disposal, deep cleaning of restrooms and high-traffic areas, restocking supplies, and following SOPs and safety guidelines. You will engage customers about programs and help with omni-channel processes as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Deep cleans key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and other high-traffic areas.
• Maintain clean equipment and notify supervisor of supply needs for replenishment.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
