Job summary

Michaels Albany-Latham, NY is seeking store associates to assist customers, stock shelves, and handle checkout with a friendly approach. You’ll help shoppers find items, enroll them in rewards programs, and support omni-channel processes in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
• Maintain merchandise recovery and in-stock store
• Support SISO and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully with others and be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
