Position Overview

A Retail Cashier/Customer Service (Floater) is a position filled by an individual who is not assigned to just one location. Floater Cashiers provide coverage and assistance to store locations within a specific geographic region. The work location can vary daily. Cashier Floaters are assigned work in a store to fill vacancies created by leaves of absence, vacation, or vacant positions being recruited. This role offers opportunities to meet new people, learn new techniques, build a reputation, and gain valuable experience. You may also be selected to take on additional leadership roles. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, thank them, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly service and accurate product information.
• Ring up sales, apply discounts/promotions, and follow laws regarding restricted sales.
• Prepare cashier reports accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Fuel customers’ cars, check engine fluids, and wash windows as needed (where applicable).
• Follow sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Reconcile daily paperwork when covering shifts (Book Floaters).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Of legal age to sell restricted products (21+ for this location).

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
• Flexible to support 24/7 operations, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Previous retail or cashier experience.
• Leadership qualities and integrity.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation to support multiple locations.
• For NV only: of legal age to work with slot machines.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods, frequently lift up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 65 pounds. Work conditions include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals.

Coverage areas include: Tacoma, Sumner, Puyallup, Bremerton.
