Job Description: Cashier Floater

Requirements:

• Reliable transport to various locations throughout King County.
• Legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco.
• Availability on weekends and holidays.

Position Overview:

The Cashier Floater provides coverage for stores based on staffing needs such as PTO, vacant positions, and training schedules. You will travel to and work in different store locations, with schedules that may change daily. This role offers exposure to a broader customer base and the opportunity to collaborate with different store teams. Cashier Floaters are empowered to resolve customer issues and assist team members to ensure excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and thank them for their business.
• Provide fast, friendly service with accurate product information.
• Ring up sales accurately, apply discounts, and follow laws regarding restricted sales.
• Reconcile daily paperwork and complete deposits when covering shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including pumps and islands.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Follow sanitation, food handling, and storage procedures.
• Meet physical demands such as standing, lifting, bending, and pulling.
• Adhere to company policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred.
• Team-oriented with integrity and adaptability.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching; occasional lifting up to 65 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and exposure to chemicals.
