Pay: $20.70 - $22.10 an hour.

A Retail Cashier Floater is a versatile role designed for individuals who provide coverage across multiple store locations within a specific region. Your work location may vary daily as you fill in for staff on leave, vacation, or open positions. As a Floater, you'll have the chance to meet new people, learn new techniques, and gain valuable experience while building your reputation. You may also be selected for additional leadership opportunities.

What you'll do as a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Floater:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back.
• Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information; helping to build awareness of our products and services.
• Ring up sales and merchandise, offering applicable discounts/promotions while following all laws regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol.
• Prepare cashier checkout reports accurately and according to policy.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Be safety/security conscious and follow the guidelines in the Safety Manual. Report accidents or incidents immediately.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Where applicable, fuel customers' cars, check engine fluids, and wash windows as needed (required in Oregon and for handicapped customers).
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling procedures are followed.
• Book Floaters Only: Reconcile daily paperwork when covering shifts and completing deposits.
• Additional duties as assigned.

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Can work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Are of legal age to sell restricted products (alcohol, tobacco). NV only: legal age for slot machines.
• Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
• Have previous retail or cashier experience.
• Lead by example and do the right thing.
• Are a strong team player.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and talk frequently.
• Lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
• Work in conditions that include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes.
