Job Description: Cashier Floater

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to various locations throughout King County.
• Legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco.
• Availability on weekends and holidays.

Position Overview:

The Cashier Floater provides coverage for stores based on staffing needs due to PTO, vacancies, training, etc. This role involves traveling to different store locations with a flexible schedule. It offers exposure to a broader customer base and the chance to work with diverse store teams. Floater cashiers are empowered to resolve customer issues and assist team members to ensure excellent customer experiences.

Shift: Part-time.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly, thank them, and invite them back.
• Provide quick, friendly service and accurate product information, promoting awareness of products and services.
• Accurately process sales, applying discounts and promotions as applicable, following all legal restrictions.
• Reconcile daily paperwork and handle deposits when covering shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including pumps and islands.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Follow sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Meet physical demands such as standing, lifting, and bending.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Retail or cashier experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and speaking.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
• Work in conditions that may include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes from gasoline and chemicals.
