MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking an energetic Retail Cashier for the Moberly Store - Morley team. This hourly full-time role emphasizes customer service, accurate cash handling, and maintaining a welcoming sales floor.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and basic math, no degree required, and will enjoy a mission-driven environment with comprehensive benefits and a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist on the sales floor with a professional greeting.
• Operate the store cash register, handle cash and card transactions, discounts, and cash balancing.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain the cleanliness of the store area.
• Request assistance from managers for returns, exchanges, and complaints.
• Uphold store cleanliness standards by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
• Establish positive relationships with team members and leadership; work cross-functionally.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a hazard-free workplace.
• Adhere to dress code and protect agency assets; report theft or incidents.
• All other duties as assigned.
