Role Overview

Cashiers play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experience. The primary responsibilities include operating and managing the front counter point-of-sale (POS) system while ensuring a smoothpleasant shopping experience for every customer.

Primary Duties

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming andassistingcustomers during entry and exit, ensuring a positive shopping experience


• Direction of sales associates using the PA system


• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries


• Recommend products and suggest add-on sales


• Cash-handling and bagging of purchased merchandise


• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor


• Performs or may performadditionalduties as assigned by management and supervision

Position Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills


• Mustpossessbasic organizational and/or applicable math skills


• Detail-oriented and reliable


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus

Pay Scale: $17.13 - $17.73 per hour

Additional Compensation: Eligible for a 1.5% commission on selected items.
