Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Retail or Flagship Tax Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and advisory services onsite for individuals and small businesses. You will own client relationships, deliver personalized guidance, and leverage Intuit resources to grow a local client base.

The role emphasizes in-person service at a TurboTax location, collaboration with bookkeeping and payroll specialists, and active participation in community outreach to expand TurboTax’s footprint.

Qualifications

• 3+ seasons of federal and state business tax returns experience (1065/1120-S) for 20+ clients per season using tax software.
• 3 seasons of personal tax preparation with at least 30 returns per year in a tax practice or retail setting.
• General bookkeeping knowledge; QuickBooks ProAdvisor is desired.
• Experience with business tax returns and year-round tax advisory guidance.
• Must hold or be able to obtain related state licenses/certificates/bonds.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, 20+ hours/week, front-facing environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete tax preparation for TurboTax consumer and business clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Develop deep understanding of clients' financial picture and offer tax strategy and planning alongside preparation.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping, payroll, and other specialists to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service in person and via Intuit tools.
• Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador and generate new business opportunities.
