Job summary

Airgas in Tigard, OR is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to help run daily retail operations, optimize profitability, and lead a small team. The role focuses on safety, inventory, customer service, and driving sales growth in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with the Branch Manager and support functions to manage budgets, vendor relations, and performance coaching, while delivering excellent service to our customers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in industrial retail, inside sales, customer service or inventory control.
• Airgas Branch Management Trainee program completion acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with daily store operations and safety.
• Lead and mentor a small team, schedule and manage performance.
• Coordinate deliveries and optimize routes with drivers.
• Support marketing and merchandising to grow sales.
• Maintain inventory, showroom, and warehouse appearance.
• Assist with accounts receivable and daily cash reconciliation.
