Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Virginia-Salem is seeking a Retail Branch Manager I to drive growth by building consumer and business relationships, leading branch staff, and delivering the Woodforest Experience to customers every day.

You will recruit and develop a sales-focused team, expand deposits and loans, and engage with the community while embracing technology-driven customer service. This role is full-time and on-site in Salem, VA.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant sales or customer service experience, or a Bachelor's with 3 years.
• 1 year of experience leading and directing a sales team.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred.
• Must be positive and engaging.
• Residence in the community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by promoting banking products.
• Recruit, train, and motivate staff to ensure profitability and growth.
• Develop strategies to grow and deepen consumer and business relationships.
• Grow deposits and loans through inside and outside calling.
• Lead community engagement with the Community Development Relationship Manager.
• Provide exceptional customer experience and lead a culture of Woodforest.
