Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Chester, VA is seeking a Retail Branch Manager I to grow consumer and business relationships and lead branch sales initiatives. You will drive revenue, recruit and coach staff, and partner with community leaders to strengthen our local presence.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of sales or customer service experience (or a Bachelor's +3 years), plus 1 year leading a sales team. In-store banking experience is preferred. This is a full-time on-site role in Virginia.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• A Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience leading and directing the activities of a sales team.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred.
• We prefer candidates who reside within our community.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by promoting banking products and services.
• Recruit, train, retain and motivate staff to meet profitability and growth objectives.
• Develop and lead strategies to grow consumer and business relationships.
• Grow deposits and loans through inside and outside calls.
• Enhance customer experience by greeting and building relationships.
