Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years retail banking experience (Teller/CSR).
• Knowledge of banking operations (Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Loss).
• Experience building and developing customer relationships.
• Ability to learn banking products and services in detail.
• Willingness to cross-train in other branch functions.
• Strong problem-solving and customer issue resolution.
• Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent phone skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Weekend hours and occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging clients and resolving issues.
• Communicate product features and disclosures to customers.
• Identify opportunities to acquire new banking relationships and refer to licensed reps as needed.
• Retain and deepen relationships to meet team goals.
• Handle Teller operations and safeguard cash and negotiable instruments.
• Assist in vault/ATM duties and maintain orderly customer area.
• Explain disclosures and FDIC protection on new accounts.
• Ensure accurate new account record keeping and timely follow-up.
• Adhere to compliance, security, and audit policies and conduct.
• Mentor new tellers and customer service staff.
• Attend workshops to build technical and professional knowledge.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
