First Sentinel Bank is seeking a Retail Operations Associate to join our on-site team at our Virginia location. You will handle daily teller transactions, open new accounts, assist customers, and promote banking products in a friendly, hometown setting.

Balancing cash drawers, ensuring accuracy, and following Bank policy will be routine. The ideal candidate has at least one year of cash handling or customer service experience and a High School diploma, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience.
• Some experience in finance, banking, accounting, or similar industry preferred.
• Willing to travel occasionally.

Aufgaben

• Provides a complete range of customer services at the Bank, explaining available Bank product and service features and benefits, and gathering customer information to set up new accounts and process updates or maintenance on existing accounts.
• Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, enters deposits into computer records.
• Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift and reports discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Opens new deposit accounts for consumer and commercial customers.
• Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as consumer and mortgage loans, IRAs, CDs, and safe deposit boxes.
