Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Banker to serve as a frontline ambassador and to grow retail customer relationships through outstanding service and proactive marketing of banking products.

You will execute branch duties, open deposit accounts, process transactions, and promote digital tools while upholding Woodforest’s Core Values of Ownership, Service, Community, and Integrity in every customer and team interaction. This is a full-time role based in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch.
• Demonstrate ownership in resolving customer inquiries or concerns at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to explain complex solutions in a simple to understand way.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by creating warm, welcoming, and personalized interactions with every customer, every day.
