Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Bastrop, TX is seeking a store Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards and deliver exceptional customer service. You will help keep the backroom organized, tag and stock merchandise, and train team members to meet store standards.

You will interact with customers and associates, maintain clean, safe conditions, and support store goals while adhering to policies. Starting pay begins at $14.00–$14.50 per hour with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing.
• Provide an excellent customer experience through service and engagement.
• Organize back stock and ensure merchandise is tagged, hung, and coded.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain flow of goods to sales floor.
• Promote safety, compliance, and adherence to labor laws and policies.
