Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate in Fayetteville, USA. You will deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting operations including merchandising and loss prevention.

You may cross-train in multiple store areas to meet business needs. Key duties include ringing transactions, promoting credit and loyalty programs, and assisting with merchandise preparation and recovery throughout the day.

• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
• Other duties as assigned.
