ALDI USA is hiring for a Store Associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain a pristine store. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and a smooth shopping experience.

The role includes full-time scheduling with an average of 30+ hours per week and starting wages around $18.50 per hour, with scheduled increases in subsequent years. This position emphasizes reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Operates the POS system to scan and process purchases and reports scanning concerns to management.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes for efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists management in achieving operational efficiency and total loss goals.
• Ensures safety and proper equipment maintenance in the store.
