Job summary

Ralph Lauren is seeking an Associate Manager to support the General Manager in creating strategic store plans and ensuring profitable execution. You will help drive performance, educate the team, and deliver a consistent customer experience aligned with the RL brand.

You will lead talent development, recruit locally, and implement store initiatives while maintaining brand standards and exceptional operations. This role requires flexible scheduling and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent is a plus.
• Retail management experience in a high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel.
• Ability to stand, move, and work across the sales floor and back office; lift up to 30 lbs. and climb stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in analyzing business trends and strategic planning of initiatives for your store location.
• Educate your team on sales and profit performance tools and resources.
• Create a consistent customer experience aligned to RL brand expectations by supporting the store vision.
• Assist in developing the store client development strategy and lead community outreach in your market.
• Execute the talent strategy with the General Manager to build and develop a team focused on the customer.
• Drive networking and recruitment activities in your store market.
• Engage in ongoing talent development conversations, coaching and feedback for employees.
• Maintain productivity standards through store processes, inventory control and shrink management.
• Champion use of new selling techniques and More Ways to Shop to drive business results.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to General Manager & District Director on high profit potential and market trends.
• Ensure sales floor and store standards exceed expectations at all times.
• Create an inclusive environment aligned with Ralph Lauren values and cultural focus areas.
