Job summary

Ralph Lauren is seeking an Associate Manager to support the General Manager in a Ralph Lauren store in the United States. You will help analyze business trends, educate your team on sales tools, and ensure a customer experience aligned to the RL brand.

You will lead talent development, recruit within your market, and drive store performance through people and store processes, while upholding brand standards and participating in inventory control.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent a plus.
• Retail management experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Strong communication with customers and staff.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in analyzing business trends and strategic planning for the store.
• Create a consistent customer experience aligned to RL brand expectations by supporting the store vision.
• Assist in the creation of the store client development strategy and lead community outreach in your market.
• Execute the talent strategy set for your store, collaborating with the General Manager to build and develop a team with the customer at its core.
• Drive networking and recruitment activities in your store market.
• Actively engage in ongoing talent development conversations, providing coaching, feedback and learning opportunities.
• Maintain productivity through managing processes, inventory control and shrink reduction.
• Champion use of new technology to support selling techniques and store initiatives.
