Job summary

ALDI is seeking a full-time Store Associate in Scranton to handle merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain store standards.

The role entails operating the POS system, stocking shelves, processing curbside orders, and supporting management in loss prevention and shop efficiency. Requires 18+ and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model and fulfill all customer service principles and escalate concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Utilizes the POS system to scan and process customer purchases and informs management of scanning concerns or errors.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders by accurately retrieving items and ensuring timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assists store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Complies with all company policies and processes.
• Supports a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
