ALDI USA in Scranton is seeking a store associate to assist with merchandising, stocking, cashiering and cleaning to keep the store in top condition. You will enhance the customer shopping experience by collaborating with the ALDI team and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best.
• Collaborate with the ALDI team and provide exceptional customer service.
• Inform store management of loss due to damaged or outdated products.
• Use POS system to scan and process purchases and report scanning concerns.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures and manage checkout lanes.
• Stock shelves and displays per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving efficiency and loss goals.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
