Job summary

Michaels in Linden, NJ is hiring a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, and keep the store well-merchandised to meet brand standards.

Responsibilities include helping customers, enrolling them in rewards programs, supporting BOPIS/SFS, and maintaining in-stock conditions while adhering to SOPs. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; manage returns/go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact positively with customers and teammates, act as a role model
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
