Job summary

Michaels in Cedar Knolls, NJ seeks a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery while promoting the Rewards program, supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store. Base pay ranges from $15.92 to $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• At least sixteen (16) years of age required.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and enroll them into Private Label Credit Card
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise return/go back processes to keep shelves in stock
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Promote the organization's vision and provide a positive example for team members
