Job summary

Michaels is hiring in Wayne, NJ for a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout experiences. You will participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandising, while promoting rewards and private label programs.

The role includes omni-channel support and adherence to store SOPs. Applicants should have retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for long periods, and be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain compliance.
• Interact respectfully and act as a role model for Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
