Job summary

Michaels in Trenton-Princeton, NJ is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain well-merchandised, in-stock aisles.

Responsibilities include supporting omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store), participating in planograms, and cross-training in custom framing. Michaels offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities for team members.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Deliver a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and private label credit cards, enroll as needed.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Ensure merchandise recovery and in-stock conditions; follow store recovery procedures.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties; maintain store recovery standards.
• Provide fast checkout and accurate cash handling; promote store loyalty programs.
• Assist customers with BOPIS/SFS and other Omni-channel processes.
• Maintain planograms, stock shelves, and manage go-backs and returns.
• Cross-train in framing sales and production as needed.
