Job summary

Michaels Stores in Amarillo, TX is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate items, and provide a fast checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining merchandise recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

Responsibilities include engaging customers on Rewards and private label cards, participating in BOPIS/SFS processes, and supporting SOPs, safety, and shrink programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Standing and mobility in a store environment.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain stock and merchandise recovery; manage returns/go-back
• Support store in-stock optimization and AD set duties
• Assist shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
