Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will also participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well-merchandised.

You will engage customers in rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, support VOC surveys, and assist with omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and a fast checkout experience.
• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Load and unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms.
• Encourage enrollment in rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in store recovery, inventory, and in-stock optimization activities.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image and teamwork.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
