Job summary

HomeGoods, part of the TJX Companies family, is hiring to deliver outstanding customer experiences and maintain a clean, organized store environment. You will support operations, promote loyalty programs, and ensure accurate transactions while upholding company standards.

The role requires strong customer service, adaptability to shifts, and teamwork to meet business needs. Previous retail experience is a plus; training and development are provided.

• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
• Works effectively with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store
• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains merchandising and follows procedures and standards
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures
• Participates in store recovery as needed and maintains store condition
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives
• Other duties as assigned
