Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., in Salina, KS, seeks team members to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience across the store. You will engage customers, maintain a clean environment, and support operations, including merchandising and loss prevention.

Responsibilities include ringing up purchases, promoting loyalty programs, and participating in store recovery and safety practices. Prior retail experience is a plus, with benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
• Other duties as assigned
