Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc., a Fortune 500 off-price retailer with over 2,200 stores, seeks a Retail Associate to ensure a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, present merchandise, and support store operations to meet service goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe sales floor, assisting customers with merchandise and questions, and following company standards on loss prevention and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors on every task.
• Maintains a clean, organized sales floor and ensures proper merchandise presentation.
• Assists Customers with merchandise, questions, and checkout, greeting them warmly.
• Adheres to loss prevention, cash handling and store policies during all transactions.
• Represents and supports the Ross brand with integrity and courtesy at all times.
• Performs daily tasks across departments as business needs require to meet store goals.
