Qualifications

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the number one priority and you will practice safe behaviors in all you do.
• Maintain high awareness on the sales floor to create a safe shopping environment and keep exits clear.
• Treat Customers and Associates with respect; be friendly and professional at all times.
• Assist Customers with merchandise and questions at the register, greeting with eye contact and a smile.
• Provide prompt, courteous responses to Customer service calls and issues; involve Store Leadership when needed.
• Represent the Ross brand with integrity in all interactions.
• Perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting) and replenish restroom supplies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code at all times.
• Ensure store is neat, clean, and merchandised per guidelines; expedite receipts to the floor.
