Job summary

Family Center Farm & Home in Rolla, MO is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to assist customers, stock shelves, and support daily store operations with friendly, efficient service.

You will greet customers, answer questions, inform them of promotions, and guide them to products. You will help with displays, keep aisles tidy, and maintain accurate stocking levels while upholding safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers helpfully and courteously.
• Answer incoming phone calls and attend to customers simultaneously.
• Inform customers of current sales and promotions.
• Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
• Complete general housekeeping of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Work with management to arrange and rotate items and displays on the sales floor, keeping merchandise organized and easily accessible to customers.
• Responsible for organizing, stocking, and restocking shelves with available products.
• Drive sales by engaging customers, sharing product knowledge, and recommending products.
• Reinforce safety by identifying unsafe conditions and reporting to management.
• Promote trust and respect among personnel.
• Participate in the freight process as needed.
• Operate the cardboard baler.
• Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
