Naples Zoo Gift Shop is looking for Part Time Retail Associates

Compensation: $15/hr

Position Title: Retail Associate

Reports to: Retail Supervisor(s), Assistant Retail Operations Manager, and Retail Operations Manager

Responsibilities

1. Fulfill guest’s needs quickly and efficiently.
2. Inform retail leadership in a timely manner when item quantities are low or special requests arise.
3. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
4. Uphold company policies and procedures.
5. Perform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.
6. Check and stock supplies in counter area, floor display, floor stands, and cabinets neatly, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
7. Maintain balanced cash drawer as assigned.
8. Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Ability to thrive in a team environment while also working independently.
3. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
4. Basic computer knowledge and skills including POS systems and Excel.
5. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs).
6. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Previous Experience

None required. All education backgrounds eligible.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly, Non-Exempt. Pay is based on range in consideration of relevant job experience and certification/education.
