Job summary

Vail Resorts in Pennsylvania is hiring a Winter Seasonal Retail Associate for the 2026/2027 season. Join our mountain team to outfit guests with the latest outdoor gear and provide exceptional service.

Starting wage is $20.00/hr with opportunities for discounts, training, and advancement. Applicants must be 18+, able to work nights, holidays and weekends, and pass state background clearances. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Seasonal retail role in a mountain resort environment.
• Customer-focused and able to work evenings/weekends.
• Strong communication and product knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest service and product knowledge.
• Outfit guests with outdoor gear.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain safety standards.
• Support cashiering, rentals, or other departments as needed.

A Retail Associate is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles which could include one of the following:

• Retail Rental operations
• Ski sales and retail support
• Retail sales

The role you are being hired into requires further background check clearances by the State of Pennsylvania, which will need to be completed before you can begin work.

The expected pay range is$ 20.00/hr.. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
