Job summary

Vail Resorts in Crested Butte is hiring a Retail Associate for the 2026/2027 winter season. You’ll help guests pick the right gear, provide top-notch service, and work across departments as needed. The role supports flexible shifts, including nights, holidays and weekends, with on-site operations in a vibrant mountain town.

Starting wage is $20.00/hr; housing is not provided. The position welcomes applicants aged 16+ and emphasizes training throughout the season while offering strong benefits

A Retail Associate is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles which could include one of the following:

• Resort Activities
• Retail Rental operations
• Food and Beverage Support
• Ticket sales or scanning
• Lift Operations
• Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
