Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Belleville, IL to support store operations, drive customer service, and develop the team on site. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention while upholding company policies.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate associates, handle daily directives, and respond to business needs with a positive, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Store management experience in retail or similar setting preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks required by a store environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Process directives and communications related to store activities.
