What you'll be doing:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in running the store. Your responsibilities include hiring, training, motivating, and supervising staff; leading meetings; maintaining displays and merchandising; ensuring cash handling compliance; and driving the store towards meeting or exceeding financial goals. Ongoing training is provided, with opportunities for transfer to other stores as you advance.

Requirements:

• 3 years' supervisory experience with 15+ employees in food services, manufacturing, production, or retail, or one year of supervision with successful completion of Goodwill training
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics plus 1 year supervisory experience in relevant fields
• 4+ years military service with supervisory experience
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with computers, POS systems, and MS Office
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferences:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Previous military experience

This role involves working in a dynamic environment with physically demanding tasks such as unpacking, sorting, and displaying donated items. Flexibility and proactive problem-solving are essential. Daily use of computers, email, and Microsoft Office is required. Success in this role depends on your ability to oversee the big picture while managing daily operations.
