Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Models company values and fosters teamwork.
• Monitors local market conditions and suggests adjustments to maintain competitive position.
• Provides product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicates weekly information, milestones, and concerns.
• Ensures adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Resolves customer concerns in the leader's absence.
• Identifies hazards and maintains store equipment safely.
• Maintains store cleanliness and signage.
• Maintains stock levels through ordering and Merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Ensures product quality and signage accuracy.
• Supports payroll, shrink control, inventory counts, and staff training.
• Supervises day-to-day operations and escalates issues as needed.
• Ensures reports are completed timely and accurately.
