Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store and a customer-first focus. You will assist with supervision of staff, merchandise presentation, deposits, and daily store operations, while protecting assets and reducing losses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cash handling and deposits.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise processes including receiving, stocking, restocking and building displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork and facility controls.
• Support planograms and ensure merchandise presentation aligns with standards.
• Maintain financial integrity through cashier accountability, deposits, refunds, and overrides; count tills and deposit money.
