Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise store employees, manage merchandise presentation, and handle deposits while protecting assets and reducing losses.

The role includes coaching staff, scheduling, opening/closing shifts, cash handling, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and deposits is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cashier to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays per planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory, control damages, and support cash handling procedures.
