Janie and Jack LLC in Destin, FL, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will champion the business and lead the team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will coach staff, manage events, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced boutique setting.

You will support the General Manager in daily operations, lead sales efforts, manage visual merchandising, and help recruit a dynamic team while maintaining a positive, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years retail sales experience with management experience (preferred).
• Experience meeting/exceeding sales and profit targets.
• Training skills to elevate the team’s product knowledge and selling skills.
• Experience implementing merchandising strategies and changing visual sets.
• Acts with authenticity, sincerity, and transparency.
• Available nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supports General Manager in daily store operations to meet KPIs.
• Develops clear action plans with the GM for store objectives and timelines.
• Motivates and coaches staff to improve selling opportunities and customer relationships.
• Creates and implements visual merchandising strategies to drive sales.
• Uses tools to enhance the customer experience and adapt to change.
• Leads omni selling and motivates the team to hit hourly and daily goals.
• Fosters an inclusive, positive work environment and brand passion.
• Assists in networking and recruiting to build a dynamic team.
• Other duties as assigned.
