Job summary

POP MART in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Partner with the Store Manager to coach Brand Associates, drive sales KPIs, manage inventory, merchandising, and loss-prevention while ensuring POP MART’s premium brand standards.

This role reports to the Store Manager and requires at least 2 years of retail leadership, strong communication, and a passion for designer toys and pop culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and business performance metrics.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Interest in designer toys, collectibles, art, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture is highly valued.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business metrics and implement action plans that drive results.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the sales floor to deliver an exceptional customer experience and set the standard for engagement.
• Coach, develop, and retain Brand Associates and Sales Leads.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash management, safety, and compliance.
• Drive sales goals and KPIs, analyze results, and implement action plans to improve performance.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and back-of-house operations; ensure accurate cycle counts and replenishment.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when Store Manager is unavailable and support store events and campaigns.
