Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Metairie, LA to oversee daily store operations and develop team members. You will promote a customer-centric environment while supporting the Store Manager in driving sales and maintaining strong customer relations.

Compensation includes an hourly wage with commission on performance and a bonus based on store results, plus comprehensive benefits, Earned Wage Access, and 401(k) eligibility. Flexible retail scheduling is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising others in a retail environment.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment and address issues promptly.
• Assist in training and developing store staff.
• Recruit top talent through company channels.
• Open/close the store and manage cash drawers and assets.
• Ensure asset protection and inventory control.
• Support store leadership in achieving financial goals and customer satisfaction.
• Cover duties as manager on duty when Store Manager is absent.
