Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store under the Store Manager's direction. You will supervise staff, manage merchandise, complete deposits, and support profitability while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include leading customer service at the register, scheduling and training employees, executing planograms, and maintaining inventory and safety procedures.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and POS system; cash handling proficiency.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, displays and rotation.
• Maintain accurate inventory, control damages and markdowns.
• Support planogram implementation and in-store presentation.
• Ensure cash control and deposit procedures; handle refunds and overrides.
• Assist Store Manager in their absence.
