FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Harlingen, TX. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to lead staff, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service in a dynamic pawn/retail environment.

The role includes managing daily store operations, overseeing cash handling, and promoting a positive team culture. A minimum of six months of leadership experience is preferred, with earnings including hourly pay plus commission and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
• Open/close the store, count cash and merchandise, and protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and security procedures.
• Manage inventory, loans, merchandising, store systems, and reporting.
• Drive profitability by communicating goals and analyzing financial statements.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualifications and buying processes for value and integrity.
• Complete tasks and training for self-development as requested.
• Communicate clearly with employees to align with store mission and objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
